A dissection of trauma, domestic abuse, and how we oftentimes find ourselves in the exact scenarios we've been desperate to escape. This definitely isn't a sweet and happy romance, and would most likely suit any reader who loves when a main character becomes their own hero, with second chance romance mixed in.
